Delete your account and data

Crosstown gives you a way to delete your account without needing to reinstall the app.

From inside the app — fastest

Profile then Delete account. Deletion happens immediately and cannot be undone.

By request, if you no longer have the app

Email smewritingagency@gmail.com from the email address on your account, with the subject Delete my account. We verify ownership using that address and delete within 30 days, usually within 2 business days.

What gets deleted

• Your profile: name, age, gender and email address
• Every photo you uploaded, plus your verification selfie and the face scan taken from it
• Your likes, passes, matches and messages
• Your hashed phone number, so that number can be used again for a new account

What we keep, and why

Only records we are required to retain: transaction records for tax and accounting, and limited abuse records where an account was removed for safety reasons, so the same person cannot immediately return. These are kept no longer than the law requires.
